I Like My Life – Elènne

by Millz on May 20, 2013 at 4:08 pm

My latest discovery and newest addition of trap favorites has to go to Elènne for this beastly bounce. It’s as simple as a quick catch phrase, a funky guitar line and a gnarly beat but it’s addicting. Give’r a listen below and tell me if you don’t just like your life.

Dive in with Jafrit

by Millz on May 16, 2013 at 11:43 pm

Got some mellow beats comin at’cha! Glitch artist Jafrit just released this spooky ambient track today as a precursor to a soon to be released three track ep, which I’m sure will be filled with more mind-melting robot melancholy beats. Keep your eyes on this kid for the release date has yet to be announced but I have a hunch it is intended to be soon.

Cheers,

Millz

The Californian boy is at it again, and with much anticipation the day has come for his latest hard hitting single’s release!! A featured release on Mad Decent’s Jeffrees line up, Foxsky’s “The Whip” is a space sythn victory, referred to by Mad Decent as “music from a Zelda game of tomorrow, A Link to the Future 2099″. Pairing up with a couple other Mad Decent familiars, the release comes with remixes from ECT!ECT!, The Reef, Vass, and Udachi. Props and praise all around, this track is sure to be a May Long hit.

Turnt Nation Trap-aholics

I’ve been running the trap hard lately, dunno what it is but this summer sun has be crankin trap hard and I never thought I’d be a trap guy. Huge props to the guys like Brillz, Kennedy Jones, Ookay, Bro Safari, Candyland and ECT!ECT! for the killer beat after killer beat this past month. Really gotta tip my hat to these boys for the free tunes, just goes to show it’s all for the fans and I know we all love ‘em for it!

The list of floor shakers I’ve been seeing from Candyland‘s OG bootlegs is bar none retwonkulous. With a One More Time trap mix and a LRAD OG remix that has been recognized by Knife Party as one of the best renditions of the track since it’s release, I’ve been bouncing MF’s off the block with the finest stock speakers a ’04 Cavalier has to offer.

Madrid – not the spanish city.

So, how are you guys doing? I’m Diego, the new collaborator for the http://loudlavalamps.com/, and I’m from Brazil! I’m gonna try to talk about some different stuff in my posts and it can be brazilian or not, I already apologize for grammar mistakes (grammar is hard, isn’t ‘it?). However, to start, to my first post, let’s talk about a “strange” brazilian couple:

When Adriano Cintra, ex-member from the band CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy) and head of it, announced that he was working with Marina Vello, ex-vocalist from the Brazilian Funk group Bonde do Rolê, no one could imagine that the result would be something so different from their previous works. No one could imagine that it would be Madrid.
